Eligibility for JLF grants

In order to be eligible for a grant from JLF, you must have 501(c)(3) status in the United States, either as an independently registered 501(c)(3) organization or via a fiscal sponsor.

JLF funds progressive Jewish movement-building work in the United States. We do not currently have any funding available for organizations working exclusively or predominantly outside of the United States, unless the organization has substantial US-based movement-building activities.

To learn more about JLF’s grantmaking priorities, process, and culture, please browse our Philanthropic Culture page.
