2025 Grantees

Over $600,000 distributed to nearly 60 organizations building Jewish liberation

We're proud to announce the Jewish Liberation Fund's 2025 Grantee List, marking our most significant investment yet in the Jewish social justice movement.

For the second year, our Community Grantmaking Team — comprised entirely of Jews of Color, Sephardi, and/or Mizrahi movement leaders deeply embedded in social justice work — made grant recommendations that were reviewed and finalized by the JLF Steering Committee. This participatory grantmaking process embodies our belief that funding decisions should be made by those with the closest relationships to the work and deepest understanding of community needs. It redistributes power from wealthy gatekeepers to movement leaders while building grantmaking capacity across our community.

The breadth and depth of this year's grantees demonstrates the extraordinary vitality of Jewish organizing for liberation. From spiritual communities reimagining Jewish practice, to artists preserving and expanding our cultural traditions, to organizers fighting for justice on multiple fronts, these grantees embody the multifaceted Jewish future we're building together.

The Jewish social justice movement has everything it needs to win: strategic vision, organizing skills, moral clarity, and deep relationships necessary to build a society where all people can thrive. Every strong application we couldn't fund this year proves that when we grow JLF's resources, the movement is ready to run with them and flourish.
