Jews for Racial & Economic Justice (JFREJ) Community is the home for Jewish New Yorkers organizing with our neighbors and allies to transform New York from a playground for the wealthy few into a real democracy (with playgrounds for all of us)!

For over 30 years, JFREJ Community has been organizing for racial and economic justice in solidarity with our neighbors and allies. JFREJ Community works with its partners to realize a vision of public safety based not on policing and prisons, but on violence-prevention, education, and providing communities with the resources and freedom they need to thrive. JFREJ organizes older adults, disabled people, family caregivers, and home care workers to build a more caring and feminist economy — one with universal healthcare, long-term care, and dignity for caregivers.
